DOISHIKAI was founded in August 1,998, with the fundamental purpose of attending, developing, promoting and dictating courses, workshops and seminars related to the principles and norms of Karate-do as martial art and sport in such a way that clubs and their members develop their training-recreational activities with the motto that "Karate-do and martial arts in general go beyond a fist and a kick".

DOISHIKAI was formed by a group of Karate-do professionals and technicians with a long history at the national and international level, counting to their credit, being founding members of the Venezuelan Karate-do Federation, Japan Karate-do Ryobukai of Venezuela, national and international arbitrators and athletes with experience and achievements, obtained locally internationally. Co-Founders were Sensei Jose Angel Guerrero 8th Dan, Sensei Carlos Henriquez 7th Dan, Sensei Miguel Fresneda 6th Dan, Sensei Jose Doubront 5th Dan.

DOISHIKAI, which literally translates "Equal Group Thinking" is the product of the need to rescue the philosophy, professional improvement and overall development of Venezuelan karateca, maintaining the sports guidelines of the Venezuelan Karate-do Federation, Panamerican Union Karate Organization (P.U.K.O), and thus the World Karate Federation (W.K.F). We are currently affiliated with the World Karate-Do Shotokan WSKA Organization and member of IOSTK Venezuela.
