If anyone ever asks me, “Who in your life has impacted you the most?” I wouldn’t hesitate to say my dad (Mr. Aguilar). I am incredibly fortunate to have someone like him so close to me. Not only do I have an amazing father, but also one of the wisest and genuine life coaches by my side.

Growing up, I had a lot of anger inside of me and would often lash out at people close to me. I didn’t know how to control my emotions. My dad was always so patient and taught me how to build healthy relationships skills I now carry with me every day. In my toughest moments, he encouraged me to pray. I can’t imagine my life without a relationship with God, and that connection wouldn’t exist without my dad. I truly believe God wouldn’t be in my life if it weren’t for him. I’ve seen God move in my family’s life and in my own because of my dad’s faith and guidance.

As an athlete, I’ve had many ups and downs. Whenever I doubt myself or overthink, my dad is always there to calm me down and pray with me. That’s when I perform at my best, and I’m so grateful to have someone like him in my corner.

My dad is the most caring person I know. No matter who you are, he will always want to help you grow and become the best version of yourself. As a life coach, his mission is to share his wisdom with the world, and I’m so blessed to witness that every day.
